With the beginning of the weekend the weather improved drastically and clean sets bombed the sandbars around here.
The contest hype is over and the lineups are quite mellow now.

Hossegor update

With a big low pressure system moving through the Atlantic Ocean towards Ireland big surf with temporarily strong onshore Winds dominated the last days here in Hossegor. The only surfable spots where in the Capbreton area - so the crowds in the line ups are easy to imagine. In spite of the forecasted strong onshores we had some decent surf in the morning hours with low and sometimes even offshore winds.
